Drug Treatment, Alcohol Treatment Services
Drug & Alcohol Treatment:
We offer a broad spectrum of treatment to help individuals and their families recover from drugs and alcohol and take control of their lives.
This proven type of treatment is among the most specialized in the nation, as patients in the recovery program live in real-life situations with others in their community. On a daily basis, clients have the unique ability to use the relapse prevention skills they learn while in treatment. Clients are sober, preparing for the challenges and realities of everyday life while in a supportive, treatment-oriented environment. Typically, clients will receive 7 days of treatment per week, 8 hours per day. The average length of stay is 45 days and clients will receive a combination of group, family and individual substance abuse therapies. Destination Hope can offer many different types of unique treatment – call us to discuss your options.
In addition, we offer a strong family program which allows the client’s entire family to be a part of the patient’s drug and alcohol addiction treatment and recovery.
Intensive Outpatient:
The Intensive Outpatient Program, or IOP, is an intermediate level of care that involves fewer hours of therapy yet continues to focus specifically on relapse-prevention and education about addictions. The program is 3-5 days/week and includes group and individual therapy. Clients often find this option most convenient in order to maintain work and school schedules while pursuing much needed recovery.
Eating Disorders:
For women with eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, compulsive eating and binge eating, there is a way out and we can help. Our eating disorder treatment clinicians are skilled in diagnosing and treating eating disorders with caring and effective methods.
Dual Diagnosis:
Oftentimes psychological and substance abuse issues go hand in hand. One may cause the other, or both may be present independently. It is therefore important to have a staff that can first recognize these behaviors and then diagnose them properly and effectively. Starting with Ben Brafman, the founder of Destination Hope and a clinician expert in both mental health and substance abuse treatment, we can confidently offer one of the most effective dual diagnosis treatment programs in the country.
Trauma:
Many women are saddled with the ongoing difficulties of major trauma in their lives. Whether it is divorce, death of a loved one, or childhood events, they will be tackled head on at Destination Hope and treated with the same renowned care that Destination Hope was founded upon. We know every case is different, and as such we, are highly attuned to individual client’s needs.
