Learn More About Our Drug & Alcohol Rehab Programs

Destination hope offers some of the most effective and specialized substance abuse treatment and drug rehab programs for women in the nation. Destination Hope’s drug rehab and alcohol rehab programs center around residential-style treatment and implement modern protocols and innovative recovery treatments. An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is also offered to those addicts who cannot devote their full time to treatment.

Destination Hope is able to help both the addicted individual and their family eliminate drugs and alcohol from their lives and regain the normalcy that they so desperately need. One of the biggest advantages of Destination Hope is our outlook on the environment in which an addict should recover. Throughout our clients’ stays, they are immersed in an environment that mimics real life. They will interact with others in the recovery program as well as the community at large. This allows the addict to use the skills they have learned during recovery and apply them every day, both while in recovery and after graduating from our program. Further, Destination Hope is located just minutes from the beach and beautiful downtown Fort Lauderdale. Having an environment that is conducive to recovery can sometimes be the difference between long-term sobriety and relapse.

While in one of our drug rehab programs or alcohol rehab programs, we ensure that our clients are completely sober and encourage them through various self-esteem enhancing and confidence building exercises so that they will be able to cope with their life in the outside world. As soon as the client is admitted into our program they will receive a physical and psychological assessment that will be the basis for their treatment plan, which will be customized to their individual situation. Therapy will also be provided for family members who we believe are an integral part of an addict’s recovery. If it is determined that a client is suffering from a mental health issue in addition to an addiction to drugs or alcohol, they will participate in our dual diagnosis treatment program. Dual diagnoses are very common among women addicted to drugs and alcohol and can include mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, eating disorders, and trauma.

The women who join our substance abuse programs are much more than just “clients.” We understand the great difficulty that each of them is experiencing and we go to great lengths to ensure the recovery protocols that we put in place are the best and most effective for the particular circumstance. We know that the women who enter our program have made a very difficult decision and have entrusted us with changing their lives. We do not take this trust for granted and we are continually committed to offering each addicted individual the entirety of our care and attention. We do so by creating specific treatment programs for each and every one of our clients. From the beginning we solicit the input of the client and their family which allows us to tailor a program that is most effective.

The circumstances surrounding drug and alcohol addiction are changing constantly and we ensure that our recovery protocols remain effective through these changes. We adapt to the new threats that are posed by substance abuse in society and we impart the knowledge of dealing with those threats to our clients on a daily basis. We believe that creating a realistic setting for recovery and goal oriented treatment will allow us to continue to offer one of the most effective and complete drug rehab programs and alcohol rehab programs anywhere in the nation.
