Destination Hope: The Women’s Program is pleased to announce that Dr. Aldo Morales has joined our treatment team as our physician consultant. Dr. Morales is Board Certified in both Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry, and his list of accomplishments in the fields of addiction and mental health are quite impressive.
Dr. Morales received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in 1979 and his medical doctor degree from Ross University in 1983. He then went on to complete a four-year residency program in Psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where he served as chief resident and clinical instructor.
Dr. Morales has been in private practice for 22 years, and currently serves as a consultant for various State agencies and for Major League Baseball. He has served as the Chairman of Psychiatry at Imperial Point Medical Center and has been awarded the Certificate of Distinction with North Broward Hospital District.
Destination Hope: The Women’s Program prides itself on using a comprehensive individualized approach to dual diagnosis and addiction treatment. As a result, we utilize an array of proven treatment modalities, including cognitive behavioral, relapse prevention, family therapy, individual therapy, and group therapy, while also incorporating the 12-step self-help approach.
Dr. Morales’ extensive expertise in addiction and dual diagnosis treatment will surely complement Destination Hope’s program. Working together, we will ensure clients receive cutting edge, state of the art treatment designed to help clients and their families overcome their addictions and lead more fulfilling lives.
